PURPOSE

Return a double as a Recital numeric

DESCRIPTION

The _retnd() function returns a double as a numeric value back to Recital.


EXAMPLE

The following example returns a value stored as a double to a Recital numeric memory variable.

Example Recital program:

m_value=dton(1234)
return.

Example 'C' function:

#include "dbapi.h"
 
dbapi_dton()
{
    double	value;
 
    if (_parinfo(1)  == API_NTYPE) {
       value =  _parnd(1);
    } else {
       value = 0; 
    }
 
    _retnd(value);
}
