Purpose

Restore status of previously saved GETS


Syntax

RESTGETS(<expC>)

Description

The RESTGETS() function lets you restore the GETS previously saved by the SAVEGETS() function. The <expC> is the name of the variable to which the return value of SAVEGETS() was stored.

procedure checkit

  save screen
  // Specify SAVEGETS() and CLEAR GETS before @...gets
  m_save=savegets()
  clear gets
  @0,1 get field4
  // Activate gets in validation procedure
  read
  // Reactivate reads in main screen form
  if not empty(field4)
      set validate on
  endif
  restgets(m_save)
  restore screen
