This section of the Recital documentation provides a complete list of built-in functions available in Recital, Recital Web and Recital Server. These functions can be used in Recital expressions,  both scripts and SQL statements. Recital provides an extensive list of functions covering most common requirements when building applications. Additionally, Recital 10 introduced most of the core PHP functions used by PHP developers into the Recital scripting language.

If a function that you need is not available then you can write your own user defined function (UDF) in either Recital or C (using the C Extensions API).
