PURPOSE

Convert character string to lower case

SYNOPSIS

#include "dbapi.h"
 
char	CHAR_LOWER(string)
 
<input parameters>
char	*string;		/* address of a buffer containing character string	*/
 
<output parameters>
none


DESCRIPTION

The CHAR_LOWER() function converts the specified character string to lower case.


EXAMPLE

The following example converts the first parameter passed to lower case.

dbapi_char_lower()
{
    char	string[1025]
 
    if (_parinfo(1) == API_CTYPE) {
       strcpy(string, CHAR_LOWER( _parc(1) ) );
