Purpose

Function to return the lowest element value in an array


Syntax

Description

The AMIN() function evaluates all the numeric elements in the specified <array> and returns the lowest value.


Example

use payroll
declare number[reccount(),1]
copy to array number fields total
? amin(number)
     16.23
