Purpose

Function to remove leading and trailing spaces


Syntax

ALLTRIM(<expC>)]]


Description

The ALLTRIM() function trims leading and trailing spaces from the character expression <expC>. This function should be used in conjunction with the RPAD() function when used in index expressions.
